I use this blower just to clear my driveway the battery does run out of life very quickly when running on turbo. Very disappointing seeing how big it is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the run time of this battery when used in this blower. To extend your run time, try using it on a lower speed when high speed is not a requirement as this unit does draw quite a bit of power on high, however, the run time can be extended by using it at a lower speed. Please note that blowers are considered a high-power draw application which means they do tend to drain the battery quite rapidly in comparison to some other tools. Alternatively additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with all 60V Greenworks batteries. It is worth noting, the higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is, the longer the run time will be.

I bought the lawn mower last year and have been so impressed with it. It lacks a little bit of RPM so I can't quite get all my leaves picked up and thats the only reason why it didn't get the 5 stars. However, this year I decided to get the leaf blower so I could share batteries and this solved my leaf issue. just finished using them both to get my yard work done this morning.
