Blowers are a high power draw application and they do deplete the battery quicker than other tools. It’s powerful and works well, however the battery runs out within thirty minutes of use. It’s frustrating but I’d consider purchasing a second battery because I otherwise like the machine.

the first blower sounded like the motor was dragging. sounded horrible. had to ask for a replacement . after a couple emails and week later , have one that was better.. love using it to blow the leaves out of carport and blow the ones in yard into a pile.

To extend your run time, try using it on a lower speed when high speed is not a requirement, as blowers are considered a high-power draw application which means they do tend to drain the battery quite rapidly in comparison to some other tools. Alternatively additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with all 60V Greenworks batteries. It is worth noting, the higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is, the longer the run time will be. I used to own a gas/oil blower. This has the same power, is quieter, and has decent run time. I recommend you purchase an extra battery so there is no down time on a bigger job. My only issue, is that it is quite heavy and hurts my wrist when I use. Greenworks does supply a strap which works ok but I hope they read this review and design a better shoulder strap system (that would make it great!). I also purchased because of the expected reliability and 4 year warranty! That tells me Greenworks backs it products!
