[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of its box I was impressed with how simple it was to operate; add lubricant and put it to work. Adjusting the tension on the chain was never easier. It has a good balanced feel in your hands attesting to its flawless ergonomic design. Very pleased with the performance, too. After years of gas powered chainsaws belching out harmful hydrocarbons, its clean use literally is a breath of fresh air.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe

First 40v chainsaw I have ever used quite Impressed with it.. I'm not a professional but only thing I would change would be the chain tightener I would prefer not haveing to use any tools I dont know what if any advantages or disadvantages a tool less tightener would be as I'm not a professional or use everyday. That is only thing I would change other than that It has been quite impressive so far I have a 10" 20v that I didn't think was too bad given it's a 20v but now after useing this saw I'm looking for every chance I can to use it. I've started things I wouldn't have done that I wouldn't have if I didnt have this saw... thanks greenworks

Powerful little chainsaw!

We bought two of these chainsaws because it was nearly the same price as just the charger/battery alone. They are powerful little machines. I’ve used them to Limb a 50 ft pine tree we had cut down. It cuts through wood like it was butter. I’m retired female and felt confident using this saw.
