[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a set of tools when we moved into out house about a year ago. the set did not come with a chainsaw and my partner really wanted one. I found the 16" 48V and it matched our set. My partner is so happy with the chainsaw, now he is actively looking for thigs to cut down!. It works with the other Greenworks tools we have, and it's perfect for our yard, the trees, and shrubbery we need to control with a chainsaw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a little over a month ago. Very sharp chain. Threw the chain within about 8 cuts. The chain was bent and ruined. Bought a new chain and working great again. But now the charger will only charge batteries about 2/3 of the way.

Hello blhoit.
We are sorry to hear of your experience. This is a diagnostic charger. The Charger LED Lights will illuminate in specific order to communicate. the current battery status. They are as follows: Blinking Green > Charging. Solid Green > Fully Charged. Solid Red Over > Temperature. Blinking Red > Charging Fault. To charge the battery, first place battery on charger and make sure you connect the battery to the charger, you will hear an audible click or snap sound. Second, once the battery is secure, a green flashing light will indicate that the battery is charging. A solid green light indicates that the battery is fully charged. We would suggest, removing the battery pack and unplug the charger. Wait 1 minute and plug the charger back in and reinsert the battery pack. If this does not yield results, our team would be happy to investigate your warranty options. Please consider contacting us at 1-888-909-6757 or by starting a live chat (www.greenworkstools.com) for further assistance. All we ask that you please have access to the charger, battery, and tool for troubleshooting purposes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bough this first week of December and have used it just once. I have two gas saws so I’m used to cutting a lot of wood before refueling. The chain dulled after just one pine tree. The battery works fine but barely made it through the same one pine tree. The largest part of the tree was o my about 10” in diameter.

Hello Doug1986. Thank you for sharing your experience. A chainsaw chain can dull quickly if it comes into contact with dirt, rocks, or other hard substances like nails, usually because of cutting too close to the ground, cutting dirty wood, or hitting debris embedded in the tree, essentially grinding down the cutting teeth on the chain; improper sharpening technique can also contribute to rapid dulling. What to do: Always keep the chain sharp: Regularly check your chain for sharpness and sharpen it when needed. Avoid cutting close to the ground: Lift logs off the ground before cutting to minimize contact with dirt. Clean the chain regularly: Remove debris from the chain after each use. Use the right chain for the job: Choose a chain designed for the type of wood you're cutting. Check chain tension: Ensure the chain is properly tensioned. Inspect for damage: Look for any bent or broken teeth on the chain. Hope this information helpful.
