Powerful Edger with good battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this Edger and have used it to edge my entire front and back yard. It has great power to edge through even tough crab grass overgrowth on the sidewalks. The batteries lasted through the entire cut and only lost about half their power. I appreciate the portability of the unit (no cord). The unit is well made but not too heavy when using it. I am 65 and can handle it easily.

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this combo close to 4 months ago, and I have to say it has been doing its job pretty well. I am able to mow my front and back lawn on a single charge, and that is great.
The blower works well, though I am not sure what to compare it with.The trimmer works well too, however, the handle adjustment seems a bit limited.
My only complain is that the battery charger does not seem to have auto cutoff after a full charge, so you need to keep an eye on it. And also I noticed that sometimes it does not properly indicate that it is fully charged and starts to overheat and give out some sounds. I am a bit worried about this.

Line does not advance/feed

The machine has an auto-feed head. If the cutting line does not automatically advance, it can be tangled or empty. 1. Start the machine and keep 3s. Release the trigger until the machine totally stops. 2. Repeat the above step until you can hear the line-cutting noise. The line will extend approximately 0.4 in. with each stop and start of the switch trigger until the line reaches the cutoff blade and the cut-off blade cuts the excess length. NOTE * Do not pull or release the trigger too fast. Poor weight distribution

Having the battery weight up high makes the trimmer harder to handle in the heavy bermuda grasses. Lowering the battery to the height of the guide wheel reduces the hop of the unit.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Quiet
