Powerful Edger with good battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this Edger and have used it to edge my entire front and back yard. It has great power to edge through even tough crab grass overgrowth on the sidewalks. The batteries lasted through the entire cut and only lost about half their power. I appreciate the portability of the unit (no cord). The unit is well made but not too heavy when using it. I am 65 and can handle it easily.

It comes with two 24 v batteries which is sufficient to cover the edges for my lawn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool works very well in all. Occasionally, it stops, and you have to clean out a portion of it, but that’s a simple hand wipe. I did have an issue charging batteries where the charger appeared to be overheated and blinking red due to hot garage. Now I know that I need to validate that successfully charging and not just slap them on the charger.
I’ve used a couple different edges overtime and I like this one in particular because it has a lighter weight area where the battery is compared to some other models, So my arms don’t get as exhausted as quickly.
Pros: Convenient, Effective, Powerful

Not up to the Greenworks standards

Never got it to work correctly. We love our other Greenworks tools, but could never figure out what was wrong with this one. I ordered replacement line, but that didn't help.
