Have had this for years and love it! Left the battery in the charger for a long time and it would not work after that, so I got a new battery and no longer leave it in the charger for extended amount of time. Will order one for my daughter.

I bought this string trimmer with some cash a present for my retirement from work 27 years as a power station electrical technician. It's been quite useful for my small garden at home but the battery charged light comes on a bit early to do all round and 4 paths of my alllotment, could I fit a 4Amp hr battery instead of the 2Amp hr one fitted please? Will a 4Amp hr battery fit the 2 Amp hr charger please? Or should I buy just another 2 Amp battery? The item code for the battery I've got is 29807.
Your web site gives the correct one as different number has the model changed at all please? mine has four connectors and a grey bump click button other end. The number G24 in oblong box 24V funny device LITHIUM. Greenworks tools on the side.

Yes, a 4Ah battery can be used with this 24V 12 inch string trimmer, this 4Ah battery will offer double the run time of model 29842. While a 2.0 battery (29842) takes about 60 minutes to fully charge from a completely discharge states and the 4.0Ah ( 29852) will take approximately 120 minutes to fully charge from a fully discharge state.

It's hard to believe that a lightweight trimmer has so much power! It zips through the toughest grass and weeds without wearing you out. I'm not a tall person so the adjustable head makes it just right without bending over. I can use this with NO backache afterwards!
