This weed whipper is perfect for me! I needed something heavy duty to go thru the weeds on our farm, but light weight and easy enough to start by myself. This is amazing! It lasts over an hour of heavy duty whipping and recharges in 20 minutes. It starts immediately with the push of a button, no choke or pulling a cord. Can't recommend this one enough. Its our first Greenworks tool but won't be our last!

Defective battery!

I bought this 80V tool and battery combo. The battery was defective and would not charge. After a brief one hour and 20 minutes on hold, Greenworks has offered to ship me a replacement battery. I chose "Quiet" as a "Pro" for this product since I am not able to use it.

We're sorry to hear you received a defective battery. This is not an issue we want our valued customer like you to have to experience. To charge the battery ensure the slots on the charger and the rails on the batteries are aligned. Then you want to push the battery into the charger all the battery down until a full connection is made. Make sure the light flashes. If the charger lights do not come on then the connection has not been made.

This is a lightweight and powerful trimmer. I don’t miss my gas powered in the slightest. I don’t get any fatigue or numb fingers after prolonged use like I did with gas. I like that I can swap batteries quickly between all my tools.
