not all that happy

I have used this type of hook to hang my son's towel on the back of his bathroom door. At first I thought this was a great product because it worked really well however now I have had to replace the hook numerous times within a year. I'm not sure what is going wrong but I am following directions and after a couple of months down goes the towel. Not a 100% satisfied.

Classroom

I use the large hooks in my classroom. The students hang their bookbags on the hooks. This way no tripping over bookbags and my classroom looks neat and tidy. I have shared this idea with other teachers and they are now using them, too. The only problem is that we must purchase the hooks ourselves. The initial purchase can be a little costly.

Our little one is afraid of the dark. We put a flashlight by her bed but she'd always find a way to knock it off the bedstand. Now we put a 3M hook on the side of the bedstand and hung the flashlight there. She gets a good night's sleep knowing her "my light" is there and we get a good night's sleep not hearing things go bump in the night! Love these!

Camper Organization with Hooks
on January 3, 2012

We recently purchased a camper and installed Command Large Hooks throughout near doorways, in bathroom, and in kitchen for storage solutions and organization. We were very pleased at how these held jackets, towels, and utensils as needed. We will purchase these for our home now that we know ho well they work.

I had bought 4 big hooks to hang our stockings on the wall for Christmas. After them being up for 3 weeks it was time to take them down last night. I removed the hook to release the tape just like it said to do. I was very disappointed when the tape broke and could not remove it properly. I had to pry them off the wall and along with the backing came my paint. Not very happy. Now I have to repaint my wall where the hooks were. I will never buy the products again. This product sucks!! Dont stick them to things you dont want ruined!!

Hi, I am Rachel with Command(TM) Brand products. We would like to thank for your time in writing this review. When removing a Command(TM) Brand product and the tab tears please use dental floss or fishing line to remove the remaining Command(R) Strip from the wall surface. You can do this by placing your palms on the wall and sliding the dental floss behind the back plate. It will then fall from the surface and you can use your thumb to roll up any remaining adhesive. Please review the video from our website http://bit.ly/ubpHPv. Unfortunately prying the hook from any painted surface can cause damage and paint removal. Please look for an email from us to help resolve this issue for you. Thanks!

Peeled the paint right off

I used many different sizes of the command product line do hang some Christmas decorations for one of my clients, instead of using nails, like their add says to do and I made sure I stayed with in the weight limits of the hooks. I followed the instructions and used rubbing alcohol to prepare the wall surface and just hours after I left stuff started falling off the wall taking big chunks of paint. Fearing for the rest of the stuff I hung, I went back and started taking down the other items and when I stretched the tabs the way they instruct, I still took paint off the wall. I would have been better off using small nails. USE NAILS NOT THIS PRODUCT!

Large Command Hooks Outside of Shower Door
on December 21, 2011

The Large Command Hooks work great outside of the shower door to hang a bath towel and a robe. The hooks have been attached to the sheetrock adjacent to the shower door for over two years without any loosening of the adhesive. The hooks work great for hanging a towel and robe, since the sheetrock is too narrow to attach a towel rack and a large clothing hook.
