So far I love the vacuum but since it doesn’t have the lift it has difficulty going up the incline I have into the kitchen.

This device is actually quite impressive. However, I have one complaint: it’s marketed as a device that can climb ledges, but it struggles to do so. There are some rooms with higher landings that the robot can’t access because it lacks the necessary legs. But if you don’t have any of those rooms, the robot is perfect.

Great for an everyday clean! We’ve been so impressed with the Dreame X40 Ultra. While it’s not equipped for a deep scrub, it does an excellent job for a daily vacuum and mop. I love the customizable features, such as having different settings for different rooms (mop and vacuum vs vacuum only), as well as the ability to send it back to a certain area for extra cleaning, or sending it to clean just one area. We purchased ours right after a home renovation, and had considerable drywall dust on the floors after some punch work was completed. I was so impressed with the level of clean after running it through the area, given how difficult cleaning drywall dust can be. This was a purchase well worth the investment!

Great upgrade from the Competition

I purchased this Dreame after my older EcoVacs Omni became unreliable. The software is simple to use and setup. The robots ability to navigate and clean has been a vast improvement over the EcoVacs. I am extremely happy I was able to upgrade to this level of performance for less cost than my original purchase (which was reimbursed).

My family has 3 devices in 3 different countries. We are so happy with the robot vacuum Dreame X40. It is quieter than iRobot. The design is smooth and elegant. It was a great NY deal.

Disappointed

I bought it just a month ago, and it already has a problem. It stopped attaching the mop pads automatically and keeps showing an error during installation. It’s only been a month, which is very disappointing. Now I have to attach the mops manually, and after that, it gets off track in the program and I have to redirect it to the room again to wash the floors. It’s very inconvenient because I’m often away from home, and it used to be so handy to start it through the app and have it clean the whole house. Now it can’t install the mops anymore.

Good - but edges and under furniture not so good

The machine works well and has several features to program it efficiently. But I’m not thrilled with the way it does its edges and underneath furniture that it should be able to fit under.
