Great cleaning robot

I’ve only had this for a couple of weeks now, getting used to its idiosyncrasies. I do appreciate how well it cleans. Watching it is very entertaining. I love that I don’t have to keep changing the dust bin or add cleaning solution. Its avoidance detection is great. Still getting used to everything but I’m glad I made this purchase.

Amazing in all respects but the brush

Loved the Dreame X40 Ultra so much I bought a second. My only complaint is that it doesn’t automatically come with the upgraded brush. I don’t get long hair tangles but do have clumps of hair left behind on carpet. Will be buying the upgrade and hope it solves that one problem. But at the price of the X40 Ultra it should come with the top of the line brush without having to pay extra.

Great for people with a disability

I have gotten to a point where I am unable to vacuum for myself anymore due to my dwarfism. I was not sure how this purchase was going to go once I bought it and had my friend set it up for the first time. All I can say is, The X 40 Ultra is Awesome.. I am so so happy with what it really does to my home. My carpets and tile flooring would always need manual vacuuming because of my English Mastiff heading everywhere. The Dreame X 40 Ultra is the best purchase I have made, truthfully. I am so happy with the results after every cleaning. I would honestly say if you are disabled or have a disability that prevents you from house cleaning. The Dreame X 40 Ultra will be your best friend.

First Robot Vacuum

The Dreame X40 Ultra is my FIRST robot vacuum and mop. I'm not easily impressed and I'm astonished! I purchased it for hard floors--mostly wood. It was important for me to have significant control of the amount of water used in the mopping to protect the hardwood. Rosie--yes, I named her (Jetsons reference)!--did an excellent job with '10' as the water setting. It goes up to 35. The result was frankly better than the one I produce on my hands and knees. Amazing! Rosie handles area rugs quite easily increasing the suction power when she detects the surface has changed. The auto empty feature is the ONLY way to go. The LIDAR and mapping is cool to watch. I plan to buy the X50 for my second floor which has 3 rooms of wall-to-wall carpet. Well done, Dreame!

This is my second unit I’ve purchased during the last year. I gave my first robot to my sister as I loved it so much, they have a pet and a fairly big house. Perfectly fine! Then I bought another X40 for me.
