Be careful using alcohol to clean the surface

I followed the directions, cleaning the surface with isopropyl alcohol. The alcohol removed paint from my door, damaging the paint finish. It now looks like I used a scrubbing pad on the door.

My most Favorite hook

I have been using these hooks for years.. Mostly in the bathroom for towels and on the backs and fronts of doors. They have traveled with me on many moves... Unfortunately, one of my helpers during this last move opened the container they were stored in and dumped it... He failed to look for/find all of the clear backs to several. Does anyone know where I can get replacement backs

Horrible product… do NOT purchase

This is a terrible product.
I bought 7 outdoor hooks that supposedly hold 5 lbs each to hang garland and a wreath. The garland in total weighs 7 lbs but held it up by 6 of these outdoor hooks so it would drape over doorway properly. Wreath weighs 2lbs and had an individual “5lb” hook to hold wreath separately.
Followed all the instructions exactly as written on packaging. A little less than one day passed and all the hooks were on the floor along with garland and wreath.
These hooks do not do as advertised. Very disappointed.

This product is apparently not for glass.

I purchased this hook to hang a wreath on my front door. The packaging does not say it is good or not good for glass. My front door is half glass. I followed the instructions. Five hours later my wreath and 3M hook fell off my door.

Outdoor hooks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Large nickel hooks, My intent was to hang curtains up with them.
I placed on on the wall and the second one keeps falling off as soon as I try to adhere it. The wall is clean, lint-free, and dust-free. I purchased the Picture strips because I assumed they held more weight. The curtains I'm trying to hang are blackout curtains. I can see this isn't going to work even if they were able to hold the hooks to the wall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used one of these for hanging a wreath and other decorations on my front door. The issue I seem to have having is the wreath is between the storm door and the front door. On sunny days, the area between the two can heat up, causing the strip to basically melt off. Other than that, it works pretty well. Disappointed it doesn't handle the heat, because I don't want to put a hole in my new door.
I would recommend this to a friend!
