Greatest Idea

I had a project for work that called for information to be typed on cards. We wanted cards larger than an index card but not as large as a standard greeting card. I searched the Avery site wondering what I could use and lo and behold, I found a template for post cards! Avery just keeps on coming up with great ideas and they are so user friendly it's incredible! They do all the thinking and leave us with the easiest way to get a task done! I downloaded the template, the information fit perfectly and the finished project looked so professional you wouldn't have thought it was done in our office!

I am creating a card to slip in with a gift card to the employees this year. I decided to use these for stability and they were the perfect size for envelopes I am using. A little clip art and voila, just right!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used these to print 72 postcards for an upcoming Senior Center health fair. I printed on both sides of the card. I had no problem with them going through the printer and the printing look great on both sides of the card. I had no problem separating the cards after completing the printing of them. My granddaughter saw what I was doing and is excited to design postcard invitations to her birthday party in the Spring!

Templates don’t work well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll get to the point- the postcards are fine. They work well in my double-sided printer and print on both sides with no problem. However, the software definitely has a learning curve. No matter how hard I tried, I could not insert and/or edit images in the Word version of the template, and have them print successfully. Finally, I gave up and worked with the Avery website software. That was much easier to work with, and print preview was accurate. Even with the website software, I found myself needing to print and edit my final product several times before I was happy. Make sure to print on blank paper first!

We printed our own Christmas Card postcards this year and saved a ton of money! Will definitely use these for birthday party invites as well. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions to set up printer printing was easy to follow and use. The templates were available online for free on their website. There are so many templates to choose from! Some designs are blank, while others are already designed where you can just input your information. You can design both the front and back of the cards. The cards are thick like card stock. I will be using these for recipe cards since they are the perfect size. My daughter even drew on some that I can mail for family.
