Outstanding bass & noise cancelling!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reason I agreed to review these earbuds is because I wanted to try something new. My current earbuds have a limited amount of battery power. Only four and a half hours of maximum playtime. Which is not enough for me. With these coming in at 10 hours maximum playtime, I was happy to try them out.
Right out of the box, both earbuds were 100% charged and the case was 80% charged.
Inside the box was the two earbuds, charging case, short usb-c charging cord (no power adapter), an additional set of small, medium and large size ear tips, & a quick start guide.
Initially I connected the earbuds by way of going to my settings, then Bluetooth, then by pressing the connect button I was able to pair them instantly.
After that I installed the JBL app by way of the QR code inside the quick start guide. Then I opened the app and since I’d already connected them previously they were already displayed and connected.
The app has a multitude of different settings that outperform all others I have used. You can easily open the app and change the settings to your liking.
Within the app there is ambient sound control. Which is where you can activate noise canceling, ambient aware & talk thru. I found the best sound came when I had the active noise cancelling activated.
These buds advertise as having “pure bass” and “zero noise”. The bass on them is superior and the zero noise feature (active noise canceling) is on point.
As far as touch controls on the earbuds it’s the typical standard of one tap for play pause, two taps for fast forward, three taps for rewind. Double tap to answer or hang up an incoming call. And long press for mic.
Their overall fit was secure and each went easily into each ear with the original tip.
My expectation for these earbuds was average based on their price point. Their sound quality and noise cancelling exceeded my expectations.
However, I do have two complaints. I don’t like that they don’t automatically stop functioning when I pull them out of my ear. It has to be done manually.
Second, the touch control on the ear bud is activated accidentally when handling them. This was super annoying.
In the end I am fairly pleased with their overall performance. Including the extra long battery life, pure bass and active noise cancelling. Thanks JBL!

Great bass for a great value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how comfortable the earbuds are while delivering great bass that makes you feel the music. I love the ergonomic feel to the headphones and how no matter what I’m doing they stay in and won’t fall out. I personally am amazed at how long the headphones stay charged for as well.

Perfect Earbuds!

They are so comfortable, but they are also very secure. I run and that’s important. They stay charged. I only have to charge every few days and use them all the time.

Great Tiny Ear buds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the earbuds. Im not the biggest fan of their shape as the ones with columns tend to fit better and stay in my ears better. Overall though pretty good. The noise cancelation works well but all of the pass through stuff really needs to be improved. The sound quality of actual music is pretty solid though.

Great all around Ear bud for the price

Features include active noise cancelling (which works amazing), Ambient Aware, to make being aware of your surroundings easier, 40 hours of battery life, and they're also waterproof. I really enjoy how loud they get, some other earbuds just leave you wanting more when you're trying to jam out. Fit and finish is grade A and the buds are comfortable for long periods of time. I would definitely recommend them.

Great buds for the size and sound quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most compact ear buds I have ever used. For the size, the sound is very impressive. The noise cancellation excellent. I had to switch to the smaller silicon tips that are included for secure fit. Most of my use has been gaming on the iPad and iPhone. Soft safety, the ambient-aware feature keeps you alert of things happening around you, which is important if moving through active traffic. Sound quality meets JBL's high standard, I never have complaints there. In-game chat is clear and touch controls are useful.

Overall good, some bad

Overall, I agree with the positive reviews. Two things are a problem for me, though. 1. There is no way to adjust the volume via a gesture or tap and 2. The controls on the bud are so sensitive that I often accidentally re-start my audiobook when taking them out (but not putting them into the case). Since I often fall asleep to a book, and just pull them out and put in the nightstand, they get turned back on and the book completed while I’m asleep.
