The steps do not always reset to zero. In the morning, I do not wear my watch to bed, when I put the watch on, I have 150 to 600 steps on the watch. There does not appear to be a manual reset button for steps. I also have not found a way to add a workout to the Samsung Health app.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a pretty good watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the watch, I usually go for the bigger model but I didn't feel the price of the Ultra was something extra I wanted to spend so it would've been nice to include an in-between model, I would've got that one as I like a bigger screen/watch face. I still like this one though and it has served me well. There are some good watch faces that are customizable and I'm using one I really like that helps me know what the weather is going to be like for outdoor activities.
Its too big for my wrist. Not everyone has a universal size wrist. It looks big and bulky on me. WHY don't you have female sizes??

Loving my Galaxy watch 7!
on July 11, 2025
Posted by: RobGmurda31
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have recently upgraded my Galaxy watch from the four to the watch 7. This watch with the AI technology has made an excellent upgrade to my life! The ease of use and the features are exactly what I need. I have been using the Galaxy watches for the last 5 years and I must say it is better than any smartwatch I have used before and since. The battery lasts twice as long as my previous model and the sleep monitor is extremely useful The tips I receive for better sleep and meaningful sleep has changed my life. I would recommend this watch to anybody that is looking for a new smartwatch with AI technology Samsung has gone above and beyond all of my expectations! I rate this watch five stars out of five stars.

Hello Rmaz98, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Watch7. We strive to provide our customers with exceptional experiences and quality products. Some Galaxy Watch7 features, particularly advanced health ones like ECG and sleep apnea detection, do not work with non-Samsung phones because they require the Samsung Health Monitor app, which is only available on Samsung devices. Other features, like reminders, certain calendar functions, and Samsung Find, also have limited functionality or are unavailable with other Android phones. Basic functions like fitness tracking, weather, and app/watch face installation typically work across different Android phones. If you would like to share additional feedback with us or if you would like any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a steadfast Samsung customer. - Debra

Health notifications cannot be turned off
on September 15, 2024
Posted by: I hate notifications
You cannot turn off the idiotic notifications on the health app. I really like the Samsung hardware quality and the product is a step up from the watch 5 but I really HATE NOTIFICATIONS THAT I DO NOT WANT! Its software so there is a switch for that right? NO. This is the one thing that will make me abandon the whole product line including the phones. It is an unforgivable failure that needs to be rectified soon.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on the Galaxy Watch7 with us. The Watch7 allows users to get tips for better rest using a sleep tracker with Galaxy AI — it also helps detect moderate to severe sleep apnea. We noted your concerns about the health notifications. To stop receiving these notifications, you can adjust your Samsung Health settings. Simply go to Settings, then tap on Health. You can customize the inactive time during which you don't want to receive these notifications. This will allow you to choose when to receive inactive alerts. If you have any further questions or concerns, please be sure to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin smsng.us/Samsung- Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
The step count is very inaccurate, I walked for over 3 hours and it showed me 6,000 steps, which makes no sense, also the other apps are not so accurate
Response from Samsung USBy R&R Team, April 21, 2025
Hey there Nozi, Thank you for sharing your experience with using the Samsung Galaxy Watch7. We appreciate your feedback as we improve the design and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Your Samsung smart watch automatically tracks the number of steps you've taken while wearing it. There are different factors that can cause the watch's step count to be inaccurate. However, you may need to verify how your steps are being counted by Samsung Health. The accuracy of the watch's step measurement can be affected by the following factors: > Environmental and skin conditions may affect how well the steps are recorded. > Steps are not counted when there is no hand movement in the exercise. For example, steps may not be recorded when pushing a lawn mower or cart because your hands are not moving. The watch is intended to calculate real step counts while walking. > Walk naturally without looking at the watch or your shoulders, elbow and wrist being raised. When you walk looking at the watch, the accelerometer will not properly measure your steps taken, distance traveled, or even calories burned. > The step count may not increase immediately when walking or exercising due to the step count algorithm. When the algorithm detects 10 continuous steps, the algorithm starts to count your steps taken and updates the step count. If you would like to learn more, feel free to check out "Inaccurate steps on your Samsung smart watch" to help resolve what you may be experiencing with your step count. Let us know if you would like any further assistance afterward or if you would like any further assistance by contacting Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a faithful Samsung customer. - Debra
