Galaxy Watch 7 Impresses, Watch 8 Disappoints

I’ve been really impressed with the Galaxy Watch 7 – sleek design, smooth performance, and overall it feels like a premium smartwatch. I was genuinely excited for the Watch 8, but honestly, the design is a big letdown. It doesn’t have the same clean and stylish look that makes the 7 so appealing. I really wanted to upgrade, but the 8’s design just feels off and disappointing. For now, I’ll stick with the Watch 7 because it simply looks and feels better.
Not sure who was this designed for but it is useless to me. Short battery life, lacking controls, too small to read or touch anything. i would recommend it to tiny people only who enjoy to carry a charger cable (unable to charge from phone) with them all the time and keep refilling the watch as a new hobby.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sad battery

I also am very disappointed in the watch battery. I have had this watch since November 2024 and have not gone more than 48hrs without having to recharge it. I only use the sleep and walking functions. Many mornings I wake up to message that it has gone into battery saving mode (which is a BRIGHT WHITE on black background and hard on sleepy eyes).

The battery doesn't last long unlike my watch 4 which i could use for 2 days with no recharging

Awful battery

Battery doesn't even last 8 hours. Everything turned off in the background so I think I got a lemon or something.

A little disappointed

I like my watch overall but just realized that if I take off my watch before getting out of bed, I lose the entire night's sleep data and analysis. BUMMER. I bought the watch mainly for health monitoring and it's still a learning experience.
