I had forgotten something to take notes in for a meeting I was going to. Dropped into a nearby Staples and picked up an inexpensive composition notebook. It worked well and has held up well. Perhaps most importantly it made me realize that for something to be good does not mean it needs to be something expensive. I plan to get more of these to keep as back up - for notes which need to be documented in meetings as well as for personal daily use for writing down thoughts etc.
