I have your zebra F301 pens, all colors and I have also found that they after a bit, skip, but I also have placed a plain piece of paper (8x11) under my arm (from wrist to elbow) and only left the pen and my fingertips to write with and it stops skipping. I believe that it may have something to do with the human touch with the paper that makes your pens skip.

This is the ideal pen. It is reliable. I like the 0.7mm fine point. This pen makes me look smarter than I actually am. It also makes my handwriting more neat and tidy.

I just bought 2 of the F-

I just bought 2 of the F-301 0.7 mm ballpoint in black got them home tried to use them and they would not work upon opening one of them up ink was pouring everywhere and the other one does not work I'm very disappointed to say the least I've always liked fountain pens more and now I have 2 not even paper holders to be honest I don't even thing I'll return them since I'm not the only one who is having problems

I always used these pens but lately they started skipping,they werent always like that.and by the look of the comments im not the only one that has this problem,and its frustrating,does anyone know why?

I have used the zebra f-301 for many years, but why has the last 4 sets of pens I have bought keep losing the button???? after about 3 or 4 days when I click the button, the chrome part pops off and leaves the little white part inside the cap, which makes it impossible to use, and of course the small chrome button has popped off to who knows where and can't be found!!!! it is very irritating to have several pens now that can't be used!

I have been using the F-301 Fine Point Black Pen for years. Recently the ink flow is inconsistent after about two weeks of use. Any suggestions? I really do not want to look for another brand. I can say this pen was rated a five star but has slipped to a one star.
