Why are these non-perforated???

I ordered TEN of these notebooks recently only to discover that the pages are NOT PERFORATED. I don't understand why the exact same notebook wide-ruled has perforations while the college-ruled version does not. It doesn't even mention that the notebooks are non-perforated until the last line under specifications. I had assumed that practically all college-ruled notebooks would be perforated did not think I would need to dig into product specifications. What is the point of having pre-hole punched pages if they can not be easily torn out? If I try to put the pages in my binder it looks terrible and messy. The notebooks that I purchased are now essentially useless to me.

For only 25 cents a notebook during school supply time it is a great deal when our church sends school supplies to missions for those children that can only go to school if we help them. We do this project through Lutheran World Relief where our small town church sends about 60 homemade backpacks full of supplies. God knows we are helping these children.
