Excellent Choice for a Home Office

This file cabinet is in my opinion superior to others I have looked at in this price range in several ways. It is light weight reasonably priced holds two drawers worth of vertical files sits on hidden rollers has a built-in lock and has an attractive "clean" look (no handles or labels on the front). The "putty" color that I chose blends perfectly with most surroundings - actually I would call it more "beige" than "putty". It does have a tendency to tip forward if both drawers are open at the same time or if the top draw is full and open while the bottom drawer is empty and closed but these circumstances are easy to avoid.

It fits the space I need my previous file cabinet was the traditional 36" and just didn't fit anywhere because of its depth. The staples file cabinet isn't as heavy duty as my previous cabinet but it isn't too flimsy either. I like it.

The cabinet wants to tip even when full. I put heavy weights in the back if each drawer to stabilize

Wheels work very smoothly. Drawers glide with ease. Entire file cabinet is made sturdy and has a high quality feel. Would recommend in fact have done that already.
