Great Quality/Great color prints
on December 27, 2012

We needed to work on a fundraising letter for our tiny elementary school and wanted to include some graphics in our reply cards that would be inserted with the letter. We could not afford to have them reproduced and printed at a regular print shop so we instead turned to Staples for card or "cover" stock paper. This paper with 250 sheets was just what we needed. It was a nice bright white that reproduced our photo graphics on a laser printer with great clarity and looked very professional. It may have taken several hours to cut the reply cards down to size but we got a professional looking product at a fraction of the cost.

Staples is fine. HP is not. I now have expensive paper I can't use.

I did a lot of research on why my old heavy unknown-weight cardstock feeds terribly in my new HP 6968 printer. It fed so nicely in my old HP printer. Found out (with difficulty) that HP says (in writing) that 6968 can handle 110 lb max. I had 65 LB which ran fine but prefer the heavier cards. So last trip to Staples I was looking forward to getting back to heavier. 110 lb will absolutely will not feed and HP is difficult to deal with on the matter.

Cardstock Too Thin
on July 28, 2021

Wanted a crisp white cardstock and excited I found one. Unfortunately this cardstock is closer to 80lbs not 110lbs. Thin and flimsy for 110lbs. My other 110lbs cardstock is much more sturdy. Very disappointed.

We use Staples brand card stock at A Second Chance Animal Shelter in Manning SC a 501(c)3 non-profit no-kill haven for abandoned and homeless dogs and cats. Staples brand card stock is used mostly by us for creating unique colorful eye-catching post cards to send solicitations. Since we don't receive any government funding we rely on the generosity of our members friends local and national businesses. Each sheet of card stock printed on our LaserJet printer becomes four economical postcards.

although [@] doesn't sell this kind of paper in quantities of 250 they're still much cheaper. I buy most everything from Staples but cardstock isn't something I'll buy again.
