Found what I needed and looked for. This store brand card stock did what other brands of the same product offered with the advantage of lesser price.

This was exactly the cardstock I wanted. It is so easy to print on it and make things look nice. I shopped around and this was the best price too.

Staples Cardstock Paper not suitable for ink jet printing
on February 10, 2020

I purchased this for printing flyers on a heavy card stock. I am very disappointed with the ink coverage. This paper does not absorb ink evenly and the printed piece looks sub-standard compared to other papers. This appears to be a very low-quality paper stock. In areas where there was heavy ink applied (like a photo for example) the absorption was very splotchy and uneven. In areas where light ink was applied (like text for example) the ink was not absorbed well so that black text looked like a medium gray. I experimented with many different printer settings on two different HP ink jet printers and I could not get this paper to work well.
