Bold Ink

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keep a close eye on this pen, lest someone quickly swipe it away from your possession! It is such a super lightweight pen with an only 0.8mm tip, but it somehow really lays down some serious ink on the page. The ink flows easily with little pressure leaving behind clear print that dries quickly without smearing. It also gives consistent flow without any skips or blotchiness. I use mine to take meeting notes and fill out intake forms at work. I also work part-time as a Loan Signing Agent and use this pen for customers to provide a secure, legible, long-lasting signature on mortgage documents. It is especially important because this ink is water-resistant but does not bleed through the page.
I was amazed by how smoothly this pen writes, almost like it is cushioning the page with ink. I noticed it immediately so I picked up my previous pen just to check and wrote a bit with it again and the uni-ball is noticeably smoother and more fluid on the page. Where you place your fingers on the pen tube is textured to help with grip. It does not have cushions or finger grooves so you can grip anywhere around the cylinder. I may not get any extra points for my poor penmanship but I have definitely gotten compliments for bold, clear writing this pen produces across the page. The pen itself is very modern and professional looking. In summary, I will recommend this pen because the ink is long lasting, the pen provides consistent performance, it is highly durable, and it writes boldly without bleeding through or smudging.

Great Pens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These uniball pens write extremely smooth with the most consistency! Much better then the other brands that I have used. I will be using uniball from now on! Also the .8 “bold” is still rather small but not too small… perfect one might say!

Great for deliberate writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pen writes smoothly, with strong dark ink, looks like felt tip on the page but feels like ballpoint. The ink does show through notebook pages, so it's not great for taking notes, also it's messier with cross-outs because the ink is so bold. Great for signing cards, signing contracts, things where you are not going to make mistakes or write on both sides of the page. The ink dries pretty much instantly, the texture on the body of the pen makes it nice to hold and not slippery. The top snaps on tight, so it won't come off in a purse or briefcase. Really a lovely pen for deliberate writing.

Excellent writing utensil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really nice pens! They’re comfortable and very easy to use. The rollerball works great and provides great bold writing. I particularly love the size of the bold point as it provides the perfect amount of ink without it smudging. I also really enjoy the design which makes them appear more expensive than they are.
