The model I bought had the ball bearing drawer guides which are much superior to the nylon friction guides. The cabinet is very nice. I had trouble with the sales clerk at the first store I attempted to purchase at. I asked to verify that the one I was going to purchase and the ball bearing guides and was told that I had to take what he had. I left and went to another store and was helped satisfactorly

I am very pleased with my file cabinet it came already assemble I just needed to put the handles on. Nice and sturdy and very practical with the top drawer lock.
