Great for keeping long term files such as tax returns. Unit is lockable for security of important papers.

Great small file cabinet table etc

Didn't expect to be able to get so much use out of this small file cabinet. Providing a solid place to put my printer next to the computer was an added plus. Glides easily on its tracks. Love having the lock for personal files.

Don't depend on the lock at all as it only works for the top two drawers (barely). Had I known this I would have bought the Staples brand three drawer unit.

Excellent buy

Had wanted something more fashionable - looked at Pier 1 but rattan type were all too flimsy. Finally decided to go with a "real" filing cabinet and put it in the closet. Did some research on line and decided to go into 2 stores to see the product in person to make sure it was sturdy enough and the drawers closed nicely. I was in Office Max first and they did have a contender - however the bottom drawer was too close to the floor (cabinet is on carpet and didn't want a problem opening and closing). Went into Staples and saw this one - had over 1" space from the floor. I was very fortunate that there was a 25% sale off all filing cabinets - I stopped looking and bought it.... and AM VERY PLEASED.

Serves our purpous

We needed a two drawer file the top drawer is a real bonus for pencils rulers ext. This makes it fit our needs well. I think it would be better if it was made of heavier metal. Of coarse that would make it cost more probably worth it.
