Can't see last 4 inches

You can't see or get to the files in the last 4-inches of the drawers. It tipped over when I had the bottom drawer open even though the top drawer was empty. There is no place to insert a drawer label. Bad design. Did anyone test this at the factory?

Bought 2 of these from a Staples store on 11/26/13 Nice looking filing cabinets not badly made -- very little assembly. However.. of the two we bought both were defective. The first had a bent drawer to the point the drawer couldn't be closed once opened. This appeared to be from a blunt impact to the top middle of the drawer -- but since there was no visible damage to the cardboard box I suspect this was from manufacturing. Not good. Was fixable with careful tapping with a hammer to resmooth the top of the drawer -- although the dent is still very apparent on the front of the drawer. The other cabinet was missing all 3 of the handles for the drawers. Now how useful is a filing cabinet drawer with no handles and no insets to pull it open with? Not good. We looked in the cardboard boxes and even lifted and shook the filing cabinet in case the handles had fallen in back of a drawer. We could not remove the drawers -- in this model the drawers are NOT removable. In summary -- OPEN THE BOX immediately and check for damage and that all parts are inside. If you got lucky they're not a bad item. But based upon a sample of 2 I would not recommend them.

Not heavy duty...

I had an immediate need for a locking file cabinet so picked this one up at the Staples store. The box was quite light which was an advantage to me when purchasing it; however the construction is also quite flimsy and that was disappointing. The lock is flimsy as well. It will meet my needs but barely and will be looking to replace it in the near future.

The lock was very poor and broke. A replacement lock was provided speedily by the OEM but it looks the same.

We are very happy with the file draws we bought you can fit a lot in it and it looks very good in my office it fits under a table witch was very much what I wanted! just one small thing I found was that when we open both draws the unit does seem to tip forward a little. but still very happy with my buy and I would recommend this to my friends
