great for home use

I wasn't sure what to expect for the price of this but it's better than I anticipated. It's metal not super-heavy like offic-quality pieces. It arrived fully together in a box packed with substantial styrofoam at the corners so it was safe from damage. All I had to do was screw on the drawer pulls. I'm using this piece under a desk. You really can't beat this price -- full of files the drawers open smoothly and it looks sleek and fits my office decor I'm thinking of getting a second one to use as a printer stand.

Nice filing cabinet

I was little skeptical when I open the box - the cabinet seems a little cheaply made. But now that I have it full of files it is a nice cabinet. The locking mechanism is good and locks and unlocks easily. I thought it seemed a bit "tipsy" when I start putting files in it but once I made sure I had some heavier files in the bottom drawer I'm happy. The delivery was super fast and super easy. I filled out the driver release form and left a note on it to bring it to the back door and that was done too! All in all a good buy for the reduced price!

tax season is here so i decided to shop for file cabinet and i stumble on this product while visiting staples.The price caught my attention so i checked the other retailer online for similar file cabinet. The price of this cabinet is way lower compare to other retailers. Bought the product and examine it upon coming home. The quality of this product is pretty good. Made of metal and light in weight. The space is good enough to accommodate our files. If ever we needed more filing space in the future I would love to buy this product for the deal that I got. I am happy with this purchase.

Good value at the sale price

This item is a perfect space saver for storing your work papers and files. It fits neatly under my computer desk and out of the way but handy. It is very basic but operates fine and should last a long time if used infrequently and at home only. It is not built for hard use or abuse. It takes a little manuerving to get your files to the bottom of the drawer and set properly. It is pretty easy to move along a carpet even with a number of files in it. Even though it is lockable I would not recommend keeping important documents in it because it is not very secure. I am not sure I would have purchased it at the retail price but t the sale price it is a good bargin.
