I currently have two of these one at work (I am a preschool teacher) and one for home. This is a perfect filing cabinet for light use or for storing files. Comes out of the box more or less assembled you just need to screw in the handles. This however is not easy. The holes in the plastic seem to small and thus installing the handles is much more difficult than it should be. In fact one of the handles on one of the drawers is permanently loose but it isn't that big of a deal. My only other warning would be to make sure you balance the drawers. Opening the top drawer on an unbalanced cabinet WILL cause the unit to tip.

This was a nice light weight two drawer lockable file cabinet and decently built for the price you pay. Drawers slide remarkably easily when loaded with file and books. This in not a cabinet I would lock money in but for basic non confidential filing it serves it's purpose.

We bought two of the Office Designs Vertical File Cabinet 18" Deep 2-Drawer file cabinets Letter Size on sale. For the money it was a great deal. It's a light duty cabinet that is more than sufficient to meet our needs for an extra file cabinet. They fit well under our desks and empty our very lightweight. The drawer handles were a bit of a challenge to screw on but definitely not worth complaining over. I was pleasantly surprised at the value of this piece especially for a locking cabinet.

The 18" Deep 2-Drawer Cabinet from Office Designs is affordable yet sturdy. The file holders hang on to the rails on the drawer itself instead of a separate structure which requires assembly as was the case with my older file cabinet which became unusable under the weight of the file holders.

Nice filing cabinet

I purchased this to replace an older filing cabinet and this one is perfect. It is the same size as my original filing cabinet but with 1 extra drawer. It is very sturdy and actually seems to hold more than my old filing cabinet. The smaller drawer is great for storing things that I access frequently. The handles were easy to put on and that is the only assembly required. The handing file folders do not fall off the rails like they did with my older filing cabinet (but those ones were not very sturdy).
