Bent Broken and Flimsy

The file cabinets came with bent drawers which was surprising given the box was intact. I put one handle on the drawer and tried to pull it out. The front panel of the drawer almost came off with nothing in it at all. This product is flimsy and overall useless.
The box was almost impossible to get open. One of the cabinets was damaged and had to be returned to the store While there I did pick up the caddy but forgot to use my 15% off coupon. Have not actually started to use the cabinet so cannot say. I would really like to know why your store will accept my checks but not my Credit Card????
You get what you pay for. This is an inexpensive filing cabinet that serves its intended purpose in my case. It's a very dull gray but it sure looks nice after I spray painted it. ;)
I like the convenience of having three drawers one to keep bills or current papers. I had searched everywhere for a perfect file cabinet that was reasonably priced and that locked. I found this file cabinet at Staples in La Mesa California. The sales person was wonderful he not only helped me put the file cabinet in the cart but he helped be place it in my van! I have learned what NOT to do: I previously purchased a file cabinet on-line...well I had to put it together and it was just junk! When I contacted the company they told me that because I put it together I would not be able to return it! Just what do I do with a file cabinet that the drawers won't close? Live and learn...this is something not to buy on-line.
I bought two of these file cabinets to replace one over sized file cabinet. I bought these two cabinets under the assumption that all three drawers were locking. The top two drawers are the only two drawers which lock. That is fine for my use but may not be ok for others. I keep sensitive files in the middle drawer and other things I do not want others to touch in the top narrow drawer. To compensate for the bottom drawer not locking I keep worksheets in the bottom drawer. This woudl not work if I were in practice full-time. The key and lock are standard which concerns me. This means if someone has the same cabinet they would be able to use their key to unlock my cabinet.
I purchased three of these files after moving and having less cabinet space in my new home office. These files were easy to assemble with only handle to install. Although not built with heavy gauge steel there are strong enough for file storage. I think they are an excellent buy at the price I paid.
