I returned this product as I see many others have for the same reason-it works great until you put something in it. At that point the drawers go cattywompers and fall off the tracks. It lacks the side to side bracing to keep this from happening. My local store was wonderful in handling the return.

Great value for the price! Although certainly not as deep as the much more expensive competitor I am thus far really pleased with my purchase. One big plus for me is that I did not have to purchase "file hangers" on which to hang my Pendeflex hanging files. The drawers are constructed such that the hanger is built in. Only downside is that the 1st hanger in the drawer drops into a space that exists between where each side and the front face of the drawer so you must pull it out of the hole if you need whatever is in that file.

The file cabinet does not lock properly. When I turn the lock the key cannot be removed. So in essence it is not a locking cabinet. I would not recommend this product to a potential buyer.

Every time I open a drawer it buckles up and won't open. The slider brackets are plastic and do not hold weight at all. They slide real nice with maybe less than a pound in them - any more - forget it!
