Upon arrival I removed the file cabinet from the box & found a large dent in the top. Because I was in immediate need I decided to ignore the dent & just live with it. After the drawers were loaded with files (1/2 full each drawer) the top drawer fell off its track & became lodged inside & no longer removable. The unit is poorly constructed with thin tin. The hardware is typical Chinese crap that breaks within minutes of use. I’ll be tossing this piece of junk & purchasing a replacement that is certainly not this brand.
The handles were on the inside of the drawer for shipment and the screws were put in WAY too tight and because it is made of such thin metal it bent the drawer trying to get the screws undone. The drawers do not open to the full depth so there is a lot of wasted space.
This cabinet is cheaply made. The top drawer keeps coming off the flimsy track. I do not recommend this item. The reason I didn't return it was it was a hassle to do sol.
I bought one of these years ago and haven't had any trouble with it. This last batch is more cheaply made. You can barely put anything in the drawers without them going off tracks. Disappointing to be sure.
This cabinet looks good but the drawers fall off their track. Staples sent me a second one because of this issue and it did the same thing! They need to replace this cabinet with one that works. Actually file cabinets should be made to hold files and be able to be accessed without failure. Very disappointed
