It is worth the cost value benefit to me. Has a lock and it works pretty good. It is made in the USA.

Great File Cabinet

This is just what I was looking for to organize my monthly receipts bills and warranties. No more searching for paperwork to do my taxes and all my product warranties are organized by the rooms they are in! Anything goes wrong I look in the room that appliance or furniture is in and "Bingo!" There it is!

Great cabinet for home use

I bought this file cabinet for home use and it has been exactly what I needed. Even after some of the not so nice reviews I find that it suits my purpose. Don't expect to load it up with a ton of paperwork but for general use it is just fine!

I wanted to file all my papers since i dont have a big filing cabinet i was looking for something that would be small enough and yet still be able to do the job with least expensive thatswhen this productshowed up and i was happy to purhcase it because it met my needs and it did what i needed it to do. now i can file all my paper work. it is a small but still can hold alot of stuff might want to balance out the papers so the top isnt too heavy where as bottom is light and it results in falling or tipping over.

Perfect for small spaces

For a small cabinet it has a lot of space for files its sturdier than a wood cabinet and the fact that the weight of the files are not going to fall down as with wood cabinets in the past. I like the slate color. It goes with everything better than black.

It's exactly as advertised. Except for the pleasant surprise that the lock locks both drawers. It isn't the old fashioned sturdy file cabinet but I didn't expect that for this price.
