VERY NICE PRODUCT

I PURCHASED THIS FILING CABINET DURING THE PRESIDENT'S DAY SALE. I HAD BEEN LOOKING AT IT FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND DECIDED TO GO AHEAD AND GET IT WHILE IT WAS ON SALE. IT IS A VERY NICE CABINET. SEEMS TO BE PRETTY STURDY. I DO WISH IT CAME WITH WHEELS THOUGH...THAT WOULD MAKE IT NEARLY PERFECT. IT IS LIGHT ENOUGH FOR ME TO MOVE AROUND AT THIS POINT. IT IS GOING TO BE USED FOR MY PERSONAL USE TO KEEP ME ORGANIZED AT HOME SO WHEN IT COMES TAX TIME I WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHERE TO FIND ALL THE DOCUMENTS I WILL NEED TO PROVIDE FOR MY TAXES.

You get what you expect when purchasing this light weight two door filling cabinet. We were looking for a locking filing cabinet at a good price to store some employee paperwork at a remote location. For what we expected paid and use it for this has been a good choice. The locking mechanism locks both drawers but it is in no way a safe. It could easily be lifted or pried open. The handles were a little difficult to assemble but nothing that would stop me from purchasing this unit again. BOTTOM LINE: if you need a secure heavy duty filing system to hold extremely important documents this is not the unit for you.

Bought product on-sale. Fast delivery. No apparent damage. Handles easy to attach. Using for "non-essential" records storage. So limited access. Not the sturdiest unit and drawers do not fully extend. Meets my needs.

Good Light-Duty storage

While this is by no means a heavy duty cabinet or a very large cabinet it does provide storage for files has high side to accommodate hanging folders and it locks. The locking mechanism is not very robust so I would not consider it secure storage for critical files but if you just want to dissuade prying eyes this will do the job. I do financial work and have much heavier and larger cabinets for those files however this model allows me to keep less personal files from easy access. It is more than suitable for light duty use and I may get another just to help me stay organized

Good File Cabinet for the money

Well-constructed no frills cabinet is USA made. Compact size was easy to handle and put in the back seat of my car. The only assembly was attaching the drawer handles with the provided screws. The only tool needed was a small Phillips head screwdriver. Everything is included including built-in side rails in the drawers for hanging folders. Two keys are included for locking the lower drawer and the mechanism secures the top drawer simultaneously. The sales price was very good and after subtracting a Staples Reward coupon the total cost was outstanding - very happy!
