This was a nice light weight two drawer lockable file cabinet and decently built for the price you pay. Drawers slide remarkably easily when loaded with file and books. This in not a cabinet I would lock money in but for basic non confidential filing it serves it's purpose.

We bought two of the Office Designs Vertical File Cabinet 18" Deep 2-Drawer file cabinets Letter Size on sale. For the money it was a great deal. It's a light duty cabinet that is more than sufficient to meet our needs for an extra file cabinet. They fit well under our desks and empty our very lightweight. The drawer handles were a bit of a challenge to screw on but definitely not worth complaining over. I was pleasantly surprised at the value of this piece especially for a locking cabinet.

The 18" Deep 2-Drawer Cabinet from Office Designs is affordable yet sturdy. The file holders hang on to the rails on the drawer itself instead of a separate structure which requires assembly as was the case with my older file cabinet which became unusable under the weight of the file holders.

file cabinet

It was a great file cabinet at a great price. I had a old cabinet that I had been using but when I tried moving it fell apart. I check the other office supply stores and was amazed that there prices are a lot higher. They also would not show store availability for me to pick the cabinet at the local store. Staples is great they had this cabinet and I was able to see store availability if I wanted the cabinet right away or free shipping if I did not want to leave the comfort of my home. Great job staples.
