Poor quality not very strong drawers come apart if you stack thick files into the cabinet. The lock mechanism is very rudimentary

Very weak and flimsy. After placing only the file hangers in the drawer would not support he weight and would fall out of the tracks.

Good for my purposes which is storage and accessibility of my household papers. Not the strongest file cabinet you could buy. You must screw in the handles - done with a screwdriver of course. Manufacturer recommends to keep the drawers balanced so that it does not tip over when you pull a drawer out. Standard size file folders work fine.
