The box had a weird mildew smell to it. The filing cabinet did as well. Not sure how to get rid of that smell. Currently have a dryer sheet in each drawer. Maybe I'll try baking soda. The drawers operated smoothly. The lock was indented and we had to straighten it out.

Would have liked it to be a little sturdier but once items are filed it gives that cabinet weight that adds to stability. Definitely serves the purpose for home office light filing.

I love this little filing cabinet with a top pencil drawer. As we have downsized it is not in the way and the white color complements my office decor. It also locks which really doesn’t matter to me but it might to someone else.
