This filing cabinet works great if you didn't have to put any files in it. Opening and closing this item also presents a problem. The construction of this product is flimsy and the drawers will come off the rails almost immediately. I returned it the day after taking out of the box. Save yourself some heartache and buy thing else.

Rails on bottom left were not straight right out of the box. Had to us a rubber mallet to get it to open and shut correctly. You still have to be careful to pull out the bottom drawer. Not to impressed with this purchase.

We had to remove half of the papers that were in top drawer because it wouldn’t open correctly. We can only keep it about half full of papers in order for it to not bend and get stuck on the track when trying to open.

Looks nice and works great when it's empty but drawers start warping and shifting when only half full. Customer service states each drawer is designed to hold 40 pounds of hanging file material but the drawers won't glide and the cabinet shifts and warps with just 20 pounds of neatly organized files in hanging folders balanced in the center of the drawer and it only half full. It's too light weight and won't work for me. It's going back to Staples.
