Needs Reworking

Using Avery labels at work daily I know the brand quality, so when needing jam jar labels I didn't hesitate to try these. They are too big for standard size jam jars, needing to be just a bit smaller; for the mini jam jars they are way too big. Trimming is always an option, except when your design goes to the edge (even when you don't want it to!). Altho easy to print, if you are inserting artwork (using Avery templates), it can be frustrating trying to keep your artwork AWAY from the edges. The most irritating...the labels are NOT great at sticking, but tend to release at the edges. And yes, they were put on completely clean and dry jars. So I use them because these labels are all I can find, but I am NOT happy with them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

22820 labels wouldn't print correctly until ...

Whoever suggested changing the browser to Google Chrome to remedy alignment problems - THANK YOU! I was so ... frustrated with the Avery website and support - I aligned, re-aligned, and re-aligned and STILL the labels would not print correctly. Luckily I printed on paper first and did not waste labels. Switching from Internet Explorer to Google Chrome fixed my alignment problem with Avery labels 22820. Thank you - Thank you!!!!!

I have a high aptitude for technology, yet I could not get this product to print properly after spending numerous hours and wasting an entire package worth of labels. I want to emphasize that the issue is not with the printer (or user for that matter), but is with the product itself. When I consulted a customer service rep, Yuridia Medina, she was unable to correct the problem and provide me with a solution. She did provide me with a "courtesy replacement pack"...I did not consider this as a courtesy, as I wasted too much time (and too many label sheets) already trying to resolve the issue with the product on my own. When I contacted her for support, the PDF she sent me did not work and I wasted more sheets and more time. I followed all instructions - I even tried Google Chrome & used the latest version of Adobe Reader (Adobe Acrobat DC). Nothing works! To say the least, I'm highly disappointed and frustrated with this product.

Cons: Incompatible, Dissatisfied, Waste Of Money, Alignment, Terrible Product, Customer Service

I use these labels on my handmade soaps. They adhere well, are great quality and the warm texture and matte finish are perfect. I used the online Design software to create my labels and print them. I had to play with the printing of the labels using the online software a little but this wasn't too hard. You need to make sure to adjust the printer settings so that the print aligns to the labels properly. I would recommend printing on a plain sheet of paper at first and holding it up to a light to make sure that the print lines up with the labels. It is easier to make mistakes with the plain paper than on the actual labels! I also save my templates online for re-use later on. Love the product and the design software too!

Great for Detailed Event or Name Tags

I used these to create tags for the different branches of the US military on Veterans Day. Our company honors our Veterans with a meet and greet reception. It was an easy way for thoss who attended to know who was in what branch of service. Our Veterans were honored to wear their service logos and be recognized as such. Next time I will use labels a little bit bigger, but these were easy to create, print, and use. I would use these particular labels again when less detail is needed.

I have been canning for Christmas gifts. I wanted to do more than just write on the labels that came with my jars. I purchased the Oval 2"x3-1/3", Dual Tech, Print-to-the-Edge labels. Went to the Avery site, pulled up the labels and it walked me step by step on setting up a beautiful label. I am so pleased with this product and especially this Avery site. I feel like I could create just about anything I wanted to on this site. I highly recommend this Avery Product and site. My gift receivers are going to love the Jam and think I am a craft diva when they see the labels.
