Tore the paint off my wall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried to use two of these pairs to hang a very lightweight picture frame in my bathroom which was just remodeled. Instructions say to wait at least 7 days after painting before using these. The paint was over two weeks old. Followed the instructions exactly. When I removed the frame by lifting out from the bottom as instructed, one of the two strip pairs tore a huge chunk of paint off the wall, right down to the drywall. Had to pay the contractor to come back and repair it. "Do No Harm"? That's deceptive marketing. NOT recommended.

Don't use on drywall

i bought them from warehouse store. thought they would be great. i've used the hooks all over my house with no damage. I dont suggest these hang strips for drywall. I followed the directions. but when i went to lift the picture to straighten it, strip and first layer of drywall lited,

Dangerous!!!

I bought 2x 7,2kg strips to hang a 60x90cm ligh weight canvas ( no more than 5kg). After couple of days as I was sitting on the floor and watching tv the picture fell on top of my head not only leaving me with huge bruise on my forehead but also damaging the wall ( I am renting), breaking my brand new birds of paradise plant and breaking the fame of the picture. My walls are clean, smooth and I followed the instructions on the packaging as I was putting it on the wall. I am extremely disappointed and definitely do not recommend them to anyone. I have used cheaper versions before and never had any issues. Waste of money!

TEARS paint off wall! NOT damage free hanging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The short version: these strips tore paint off my wall, despite meticulously following instructions. Do not recommend.
I bought these strips to hang a frame. I followed the instructions and cleaned the wall with rubbing alcohol and then applied the strips and pressed firmly for the recommended amount of time. Step 5 asks you to peel the frame off using the bottom two corners so you can press each strip into the wall firmly. I did so gently, slowly applying more and more pressure over a long period of time, but one of the strips ripped a large section of paint off my wall anyway.
I am very unhappy as I am renting and will have to pay for the damage. This is not damage free hanging as advertised. 3M please take responsibility for the poor performance of your product and make things right.

Horrible strips

Strips are difficult to remove the paper from the adhesive. After following the instructions I have had a picture fall off the wall twice.

I had 2 pictures fall down and one hit my head and cut it open. Barely any sticky on the strips. Do not use for anything but very small light frames. First picture with 4 strips lasted only 3 hours and 2nd with 4 strips 7 days. Extremely dangerous!
