HORRIBLE!! BUYERS BEWARE!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I recently used these strips and they are a real piece of garbage. I hung a 5 pound picture frame using four pairs of the 16 pound strips. Within one month the picture frame fell and busted everything that was beneath it which included expensive picture frames, glass globes, etc. I would NEVER buy command strips again. It peeled the paint off my walls and chipped the sheetrock. This happens with EVERY command product I have ever used. I will never invest in their products ever again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buy a nail instead

Dont waste your time with this product. Adhesive failed on back of a wood frame, and in some cases the painted wall. Rubbing alcohol will leave streaks in your painted wall. Leveling the painting can be difficult unless you have some help. I dont think that these would be along term solution, and the time to hang one picture could be long. Does this product have a shelf life? The backing was difficult to remove. So, unless your hanging something on a cinder block/concrete wall, or if your hanging something in a rented space where the owners say no holes in the wall, avoid this product.

Does not work

The first picture I hung, fell later that night and damaged my wall. I thought maybe the picture was too heavy. I tried hanging a smaller picture on the wall and it lasted about 3 weeks and it too fell in the middle of the night and woke me and my husband from a sound sleep. It did not damage the wall this time, but it did break tiny pieces of the glass off. I would not recommend these to anyone.

Canvas photos falling off the walls

These were great for hanging canvas photos for almost a year and within the last month, 3 of my canvas photos fell onto the floor. The Velcro is still attached to the wall. The glue let go on the back of the canvas. Wouldn’t trust the product again.

These products don't serve the purpose. They might not damage the wall they are used on, but they loose contact in hot weather. I had three wall plates smashing down, and several pictures, broken frames and damaged wooden steps.

Absolutely disappointed. Helped a friend who had a mirror hang this. Stayed up almost 3 hrs, then fell to ground shattering and wrecked frame
