Love them!

Not sure what the other reviewers' situations were, but I love Command Strips. I finally read the instructions a while back and realized you must prepare surface - I take cotton ball with a little alcohol on it. Wipe the wall. Let dry. Apply strips. Wait few min, may BE longer then hang the object. Works GREAT for me! :-)

I bought these to put up paper blackout blinds in my twins nursery. Went in this morning and blinds were laying over baby's face in crib. Couldn't have lasted more than 8 hours.

Does Not Work

A couple of weeks ago, I purchased multiple packages of the picture hanging strips and hooks for use in my new home. However, my paintings fell off of the wall as soon as I placed them on the wall. Needless to say, since they did not work for me, I will not be recommending them to anyone else.

I love all Command products! Of course, they are perfect for putting up decorations for all the holidays but I use them all around the house too! I've got Command hooks in the shower, on the back of the bathroom door, in the garage holding tools, of course all my pictures have Command strips. So many uses!

didnt work for me

Sadly it pulled large chunks of paint off the wall in the process of peeling the picture off and up as per the instructions for fixing. Could just be the old age and type of paint on the kitchen wall, but disappointing result as I have had to repaint the damaged bit of wall.
