I hanged a frame using the command tapes of a textile canvas that I got as a gift. It fell within 5 mins, the glass shattered and it was all over the carpet. Highly not recommended.

Terrible

I used these heavy duty command strips to hand a mirrored clock. The clock weighed less than two pounds and stayed up for 2 days and fell in the middle of the night. I had to buy a new clock. I then again used 2 of the heavy duty command strips to hand a canvas painting that weighed less than 2 pounds. It hung on the wall for two months just fine, then last night in the middle of the night it fell off the wall ruining my picture and it also smashed into my AC unit and ruined that as well. So thank you for costing my hundreds of dollars in damage when all I wanted to do was prevent damage to my apartment walls.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ruined my partners Birthday present

I bought this product to attach 3 framed prints to the wall. I had bought the framed prints for my partner for his birthday as he had been wanting this particular artwork for ages and was so excited.
We used 4x 5kg command strips on each frame - each frame weighed approx 6kgs. Less than 24 hours after attaching these to the walls the artwork came crashing down, ruining all 3 frames - my partners entire birthday present had been destroyed!
The strips had not adhered to the backs of the frames, despite having overcompensated for the weights. The frames were made out of wood - a material which this product is recommended for!
To use the word unimpressed would be an understatement - I’m disappointed, extremely angry and frustrated that his present is now ruined and the money spent on his present (and these overpriced products) completely wasted!!
Do not buy these!

What a joke!

I bought this to hang a picture in my brand new 18k remodeled bathroom. The picture was a canvas frameless picture that weighed less than one pound. Followed direction and 3 days later the picture fell off the wall. I tried to remove the strips as indicted. When the strips came off so did the paint along with the dry wall paper. Purchased this as I did not to put holes in brand new walls. No holes in the wall, but a ruined wall from these strips. I would never recommend this to anyone.

Waste of money

I’ve been purchasing command strips and hooks for a while. I use the up to 16 lbs strips for photos not even weighing 2lbs. These strips have peeled paint and the drywall paper and I rent. These are to be non-damaging and renter friendly and are nowhere near.

Not worth your money!! Dont waste your time!!!

Every single one of my pots and pans fell off of the wall and stripped the paint so I'm definitely not getting my deposit back on my apartments. Not cool bro!!!

Fail!

I tried to hang a picture using these strips and it fell about 3 minutes after hanging. I followed the instructions implicitly. The only reason I can see for the fail is that the picture which weighs under 8 lbs. was too big and too heavy.
Now I have to replace the glass which broke. It is expensive non glare glass. I will have to repair the wood trim around the floor which was damaged when the picture hit it as it fell.
I am extremely disappointed and will not be using these products anymore.

After a year of hanging, these strips took my paint right off the wall. I'm not excited about taking the others off.
