I was elated to find this product as I get charged for the amount of holes in my walls and by the size when I move out.
When I decided to hang 2 pictures in the COMMON hallway, I didn't want to have to patch and paint.
So, I used the COMMAND STRIPS.
So, I used the COMMAND STRIPS.
ALmost time to move and it looks like I "get to" patch and paint.
*It's a PAINTED PLASTER wall and I didn't read any precautions on not using the product on those.(?)

Do not use of fresh painted and plastered walls

I bought this product after seeing the adverts and wanted to make a feature wall of all my family photos, so rather the hammering loads of nails into my newly plastered living room I thought these would be perfect....
How mistaken was I. They took all the paint off the wall and have needed to re paint. I will not be using these products again

Left massive holes in my wall

I used the large strips to hang four photos on my wall. Followed instructions to a T- they did not separate from one another upon removal, rather, left massive gashes in my wall that will require a professional to fix.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought these as they indicated a 12 lb weight. Used these to hang 3, 4 lb framed pictures. Hung 3 tabs on each frame. All fell down within 20 minutes; breaking $40 worth of frames. Dent in my wall...Wasted money on these command picture hanging strips and lost $40 worth of new frames. I can’t fathom how 3M’s test lab got these to work.

Frames fall off...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought for a 24 / 36 inch poster frame that is made of medium density fiberboard (read: not heavy AT ALL) and has no plastic / glass cover (read: not heavy AT ALL). Frame crashed to the ground on 3 separate occasions, ruining my baseboard and my poster. Each time was a combination of strips not sticking to the wall / frame and strips not sticking to each other. I weighed the frames to make sure it would be supported by the strips, but obviously that didn't help.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use command everywhere since they came out. I had an odd challenge with my Mom's hummingbird plates since the strip on the back didn't extend beyond the center edge on the back. I decided to stack the hanger strips and it was a great success! All I can suggest to folks who were unhappy with these products is that maybe they didn't actually follow all the prep steps. That's the only time I have had a failure in many years of all kinds of applications.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have had these for more than a year on multiple canvas' and frames and have had no issues at all! Highly recommended, I'm sure if the installation instructions are correctly followed they will do as designed!

Have tried these twice to hang a set of 4 pictures in lightweight frames. First time 4 stuck..... Great.... Until a month later when one fell off the wall, smashed and dented the oak floor!!!! Replaced the frame and rehung the item..,.. a few weeks later another did the same, this time knocking another frame off as it fell to the floor. Two frames to buy now and floor is not in good shape. Has cost me a fortune!
