Disappointing!

I bought these to hang picture frames in a collage.. I was weary of using this product, concerned that it wouldn't hold.. I went ahead and tried them out because I wanted the frames to stay straight, hate when pictures end up crooked over time. I made sure I bought the strips for the frame sizes and off I went. Well to my disappointment what I was afraid would happen, did! The frames started falling of the wall, shattering on the ground.. I quickly started removing frames that were still attached, these too were about ready to fall! I lost a total of 5 frames, I was very disappointed! Luckily no one was in the room while this happened. I will never use these again, sticking with the old fashion ways and using nails/screws to hang anything in the future.. To top it off these strips are pretty expensive!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible took the paint right off my wall.

Once again so disappointed in a 3m product and once again it has done damage to my house. my first problem was with the scotch blue painters tape taking the paint off my wall.. and now your command strips did the same thing. And before you go and try to blame me, I read the instructions and did step by step what they said to do and the product I hung was well within the weight limit. Do not buy these "no damage" strips, I would rather have a small hole in the wall from a nail then any of these 3 marks...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't work

I bought these when I rearranged my living room. I purchased several packs to hang all my family pictures. I had trouble with 2 frames that fell quickly after putting them up. The frames and glass were fine so I replaced the strips on the frame since they didn't stick at all. Less than 6 hours later I had another picture fall off the wall. The frame or glass did not break but the frame did damage my brand new gas fireplace mantel (as in installed that day). I am very unhappy that I can not trust this product to hold very light frames. These frames probably weigh less than a pound. I am also very unhappy that I spend 1200 on a now damaged gas fireplace.

Ruined the walls

I followed all the instructions and did specifically what was required, weight limit constraint, etc. The wall hooks fell off the wall, taking paint and the print with them! Terrible product!

Command strips...

I will never buy command strips again, I hung my pictures in our new home using the large ones and the small ones and four of my pictures that I have fell and tore paint off my wall and took my picture down with it, I'll stick to using nails and have a little hole instead of a broken picture and paint missing thank you!

disappointed :(

I bought these in December to hang 4 lightweight pictures. In the past month they all fell off the wall left me with 2 broken glass pictures. I do have a textured wall so that may have been part of problem. I was hoping they would be permanent solution to nail holes in my wall. Turns out they only had a 6 month life span.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love these,I have a wall full of Family Pictures,all of the frames,have these.We have 20 Pictures ,and not one has fallen,or crooked.Thanks for an amazing Product!

Doesn't stick long-term

I put up several wall hangings about 2 years ago. They have been slowly falling off the walls. We do have a rough surface (sandy texture) so I guess that's wht they don't stick permanently. I would not recommend Command strips for any texture except smooth. I really wanted all my walls nail free-- I was really disappounted to find I will have to use nails.
