Better than expected but not my favorite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These highlighters performed better than I expected. They didn’t smudge or bleed and the color was a nice bright pink! However I prefer to have sets with a variety of colors with both a chisel and fine tip or pen tip. These are fine for your basic office supplies but I would reach for another option if buying for personal use.

Not bad but not exemplary

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are perfectly reasonable and usable highlighters. The color is bright and vibrant and the chisel point is strong and easy to use. They seem to hold up to pressure and use well. I used them on a pretty recently printed paper and did not get any smudging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a college student and use highlighters frequently. I am very pleased with this 12 pack of Staples Hype Highlighters. The pink color is very vibrant and visible. They do a great job at highlighting and they don't smudge what's written. Even when highlighting a large area multiple times there wasn't any smudging or bleed through to the other side of the page. The highlighters body is easy to hold and while the cap attaches securely its very easy to pop on and off of the body.

Perfect for all my highlighting needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought these highlighters were great! In fact my whole family enjoyed using them. The adults used them for business-y things such as highlighting test. My kids used them for artistic things such as drawing and coloring. I like that this highlighter is bold and doesn't run out of ink quickly yet it still allows text to come through clearly. The shape and weight of the maker make it perfect for using a lot without my hand getting tired. I also like the fact that the cap fits nicely into the back of the marker so I don't lost it while using the product. Additionally the cap has ridges so even if I don't put it on the back of the marker it won't roll away and get lost. Overall this is a great product and I can recommend it for all of your highlighting needs.

A great highlighter with no smudge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pack of chisel tip highlighters are great. The yellow color is very bright and the open glides effortlessly across the page. I noticed that this particular highlighter did not make any smudges when going over handwritten ink and also typed ink. This is a high quality highlighter that produces amazing results. I recommend this for both students and professionals.

My overall impression of the highlighters is that they are nice and bright because of the chiseled tip you can make thin and thick lines depending on your need. It does not seem to bleed through even the thinnest pages. I used these highlighters on my Bible and even with the thin pages there was no bleeding. I most liked that I could control the thickness of the lines. The only thing I am currently unsure of is the longevity of the ink both inside the highlighter and on the pages. I know florescent color has a tendency to dull with time.

Love it but my pack arrived a bit dried out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am huge on active learning so for me being able to makes lots of highlights write notes and make diagrams are key. I always have a highlighter packed with me. These Staples brand Hype Highlighters fit the bill for all my highlighting needs. I love how slim and light weight they are. The cap is easy to remove and secures well they you don't have to worry about the chisel tips being exposed and marking up the inside of your purse or backpack. The chisel tip is great for taking precise highlights which is very nice. What I love the most is that it has a low odor and is non toxic. The ink dries quickly so you can turn the pages or run your hands across it immediately after without worrying about smearing or getting ink on you. The color of the highlights is very calming but vibrant almost pastel neon yellow if that makes sense. The only thing that I deducted a point from this highlighter was that my pack felt a bit dry on the ends of the chisel tips. When I would first begin to mark it almost felt like that scratchy screeching feeling as you glide the highlighter across the paper. Could be that I just received an older box that was a bit dry. Unsure. Pros: -Bright calming neon pastel yellow -low odor -non toxic -lightweight -cap stays secured -has a cap clip so you can hook it to your pockets folders etc for ease of use. - does not smear -dries instantly Cons: -My set felt a little dry on the ends. I could feel a bit of scratchy resistance when gliding the highlighter across the paper.
