Was a convenient lamp but the construction is horrible. The plastic piece and you can see it in multiple pictures doesn't sit well in the hole it's meant to diffuse. The metal parts of the lamp itself are quality enough but how they piece everything together deserves a complete overhaul for the embarrassment of a price that they charge.. This lamp should be no more than $20 as it sits.

Convenient Portable Lamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this desk lamp to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have been very impressed by this desk lamp! Not only does it look great but I love that it's cordless! I do not have a designated desk space so having a cordless desk lamp has proven to be very convenient and something I never knew I needed. I also love that it has three different light settings and can also be dimmed. I also had guests at my home recently and used the lamp as a nightstand lamp. The touch sensor makes it so easy and convenient to use. I am actually considering buying additional lamps to use as nightstand lamps in other rooms. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a small versatile lamp!

Great office light

Though I of course have a ceiling light it’s still sometimes not as bright as I would prefer. I was super excited to give this Tru Red portable lamp that I received from the Stellar Product testing panel! First it was super easy and straight forward to use. I like that it’s light weight and I can move it anywhere in my house. I have been seeing this style light in a few of the new modern style restaurants near me and have always been super intrigued by them since they are cordless and light. This holds the charge well I have been using it daily and have only had to charge it once. It’s super convenient to just touch the top to turn it on and I love that you can adjust the brightness and also the shade of light. It’s been a game changer for my eyes and also super stylish for my office. Would definitely recommend!

Great Versatile LED Lamp with Multiple Settings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive the TRU RED Portable lamp because I try to minimize eye strain and blue light exposure as much as possible. I was given this desk lamp to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Upon receiving the lamp I examined the box’s information and marketing materials. The information provided was clear concise and helpful. I knew exactly how to work the lamp just by reading the box and I really appreciated the visuals. The lamp was packaged very well and the directions manual was easy to understand. I wished the manual told me a little more about the product; what was the science behind the different settings? Did the different settings block out different levels of blue light? Generally how does light cause eye strain? Typically how can each setting be used? (the photos on the box’s side were the only indication of how the lamp could be used). I loved that I could take the lamp out of the box and begin to use it (no need to charge right away). The design was sleek minimal and pleasing to the eye. The design was also considerate; the light did not shine up into my eyes when standing over it nor did the light directly hit my eyes when sitting down. At times I found the touch button to be finicky; however this could be user error. I had to touch it just the right way to make it work. I also found myself questioning if I could take off the touch sticker for a more sophisticated look; ( it would have been nice if this was mentioned in the manual). The sticker was affixed to the lamp pretty well so I decided not to force it off in case it was necessary for its use. I began using the lamp at my work desk in place of the harsher overhead lights. Depending on my mood and time of day I liked all the light settings for completing my work. While I had used a lamp before with different diming settings I had never seen or used a lamp with different lighting settings; this made the lamp very unique. My eyes definitely felt less strained then a typical day of using the overhead fluorescent lights. I enjoyed using this lamp so much and it was so easy to move from one place to another that at the end of the work day I took the lamp home. The possibilities of this lamp exceeded my expectations! I used this lamp not only at work but all around the house. I found myself wanting to turn off overhead lights and use the lamp instead. The lamp was very light and portable and made it a pleasure to move around. The lamp came with me to the kitchen at night the lamp was a flashlight in the dark garage the lamp created mood lighting during sunset and the lamp eased me into waking up in the morning. I found myself thinking “ I wish I had more of these lamps all over the house.” I liked the dimming feature of the lamp; it was easy to use and the directions were very clear. I do wish that the warm setting was even warmer; the warm setting looked warmer on the box photo then in real life. After fully charging the lamp the battery life was excellent and true to its word. I’m not fond of products that do not have a good battery life and have to be charged frequently; this was not the case with the lamp. Additionally I left the lamp on for extended periods of time. The lamp never got hot; it remained cool to the touch as if it was never turned on. Overall I really enjoyed using this lamp. Not only was it aesthetically pleasing and useful but it did help with eye strain. I would definitely recommend this lamp to family and friends. Lastly I’m assuming this lamp would be sold at big box retail or online marketplaces. Once out of the box it definitely looks more expensive that something sold at these places. It is very versatile!

Great desk lamp

Makes a huge game changer if the power goes out! Huge help! Will be purchasing more for other parts of the house!
