Many light options and portable though small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work at a desk for 90% of my job and my eyes hurt by the end of the day. So I was very excited to try this lamp! It was smaller than I anticipated but the amount of light it produces more than makes up for it. I love the many different light settings and how it adjusts gradually so you can really find the level that works for you. It is super light weight so moving it from location to location is very easy. I actually liked it best as a reading light next to my bed as I could set the light dim enough so it didn't bother my husband but I could still read. And it works as a lantern if you have to get up in the night but don't want to turn on a light or use a flashlight! My 6-year-old really liked it too so I let her use it at her desk. Because there's no cord it's very use to use in all sorts of places! Only criticism is that occasionally I would have to tap the lamp a couple of times before it would register my touch to turn the light on or off. Would definitely recommend though! I took pictures to show the size and different light settings but my phone tried to correct the lighting levels so it's even more drastic in person. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The Best Accessory I Have Added To My Desk So Far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the TRU RED Portable Lamp for free through Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review and it was instantly my favorite addition to my home work space. I had no idea how much of a difference having perfect lighting at any time of day really can make on your attitude toward work. The lamp has a simple clean modern style and a black finish that looks great even when it is not powered on. It is rechargeable through a Type-C USB Cable which is included in the box and it actually does last the full ten hours it claims on the packaging. Operation is simple. There is an on/off button on the bottom of the lamp in case you don't want to risk accidentally turning it on by touching it accidentally however I found no issue with accidentally turning it on. It is operated by touching the top part of the lamp. Tapping it turns it on and cycles it through three light temperature options. Having these options turned out to be great because depending on the time of day I my need extremely bright light throughout the day or in the evening I may find it more comfortable and soothing to work using the warm white light temperature instead. The light can also be dimmed by touching and holding your finger there on the top part of the lamp. When you are ready to bring the brightness back up you use the same process of touching and holding your finger in place on the top part of the lamp. Keeping the operations very simple like they did makes the lamp easy to use and the elimination of buttons or switches adds to the sleek look of the lamp. It is very light weight but with the base of the lamp being weighted just enough that it is not precarious or top heavy at all and it is well made and solid. The fact that it is rechargeable and can be used cordlessly is a great advantage considering you can easily grab this light and move it to wherever you may need a little extra light and you will not have to worry about making sure you are close enough to a power source. Needless to say I am very impressed with this lamp and would recommend it.

Convenient and Easy Portable Lamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the TRU RED Portable Lamp for review. When I received the lamp I was pleased with the modern design and matte black color that fits in well with my home. The design is clean and streamlined with a small head that you tap to turn on and change settings and a weighted base. This design would likely fit in with many home décor styles. The lamp is lightweight and very portable and I loved the fact that it was rechargeable so I do not have to deal with changing batteries or having a cord to plug in. It is heavy enough that it does not fall over easily which is nice because I use it at times on my couch to read at night and it stays upright. The ability to select from 3 light temperatures and then dim each of them is such a game changer! During the day I can use the brightest white setting to eliminate eye strain while working on detailed tasks like painting my nails or drawing. And and night I can use the warm setting on dim to read and not disturb my circadian rhythm. This lamp was also great to have on hand during a recent tropical storm in my area that threatened power outages. I was comforted to know that I had this lamp handy in the event that the power went out. My only reason for rating 4 stars is that I wish the light settings would start with the warm and dim and then get to the whiter settings while you tap that way when I am in a dark room I am not startled by the bright white. I also wish the top was a little more sensitive to taps sometimes it does not sense that I have tapped it. Overall this is a great portable lamp that I would recommend!

This lamp is small and useful but could use a more powerful bulb. It's perfect as ambient light but not enough for my fading eyes to use as a true desk lamp.

This usb-c charged desk lamp is the perfect size for use at your desk on the kitchen countertop or even in the car! It's completely portable and rechargeae. There are 3 color temperature options which are easily changed by tapping the top of the lamp. The LED lights are crisp and bright enough for countless tasks. Made of textured metal this lamp has a simplistic modern design that will fit in perfectly with any decor. Definitely recommended!

Great little lamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to receive the TRU Red Portable Lamp through Stellar Product Panel to test right as I was looking for a new bedroom lamp. Initially I tried the lamp in my office and while it was super cute (the design is perfect for my modern taste) it wasn't tall enough to really make a difference given the height of my monitor. So I took it upstairs and it's a perfect night stand light for reading in bed. The three light settings plus dimming is great functionality and the height of the light is much better than the smaller light I had before. I'm giving it four stars for two reasons...1) I think it should come with a wall plug-in in the box and 2) I found the transitions/dimming to be a little bit tricky to get just right. It took a bit of practice to be able to use it seamlessly. Overall it's a great product and I would recommend it!

The talk of the office

I absolutely adore this little lamp. Ever since I brought it into the office it's been all the rage. I've had people ask where I got it and I have had others comment that it looks like a mini street light sitting on my desk. The three-way setting of like choice is great. I love that it's rechargeable and that it's portable. I can move it anywhere in the office that I need it to be and even take it home if I want. I would have given it five stars but I do wish it lasted a bit longer on a charge.

Ideal for small spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you live in NYC space is sacred so having a versatile lamp that can move as needed is really useful. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel I was given this desk lamp to test and found it very versatile. Since we don't have nightstands with much room it's really nice to have portable light that can easily move from the desk to the bedside without needing a dedicated outlet. Easy on the eyes easy to charge easy to move.
