When I opened the shrink-wrapped plastic cover I found that at least one of the boxes had less than 100 paper clips i.e. about 20. This is likely a flaw in the packaging process and not worth my time to take back to the store but it was irksome.
They hold papers together less securely than staples but more conveniently than screws. If you're bored you can use the empty boxes as a pretend train.
