Staples’ almost 2 inch long paper clips are highly useful to keep papers in order. Income tax time makes them especially useful. It’s a around a good product. The only negative that I find is that the gauge of the steel wirer may have been reduced making the clip less able to keep sufficient tension on a stack of papers to hold a large pile together. Still the clips work well enough. I recommend them.

The paper clips I received do not match the picture on the box. They are not as tightly configured as the picture shows. The material is smooth and they are pliable enough and do the job. Because they are so loosely configured they get caught easily with one another and you have to spend time untangling them. I have better things to do with my time. So that is why I am giving them only 2 stars. I think I will spend a little more $ next time I buy paper clips that are better made.
