The idea is a good one. Extending the tray was quite inconvenient as the two latches had to be releases at the same time. In the end this was not as good as I expected and I may have to fbricated my own wiith wood.

This is very well made and the expanding function has very stiff clicking as you extend/reduce the size. The depth of the unit is a little bigger than I expected which just means it covers more of your drawer.
